Introducing the Wasteland Worlds Commons Reference Document (“CRD“), 350+ pages of content compatible with the Fifth edition System Reference Document (“SRD“). Just like the SRD, the content of the CRD has been released under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, meaning the rules within are yours to build upon or hack apart as long as the works you create include attribution text (which is included in the document).
The content of the CRD is drawn from all across the Wasteland Worlds series. Within you’ll find player options, equipment modification and crafting guidelines, vehicles, creature stat blocks, and miscellaneous other rules systems. Though originally designed to facilitate post-apocalyptic game play, much of the CRD could be included in modern and science fiction settings, or even be introduced into a fantasy game.
The current version is v2.1 (updated from v2.0 on 11th April 2024). Refer to the changelog for information about revised and new content.
WASTELAND WORLDS COMPATIBILITY
You’re not only allowed to use the CRD to create works that are compatible with Wasteland Worlds, you’re encouraged! You’re welcome to advertise the compatibility of your work in its text, on its cover, and in any marketing, provided you don’t imply that Spilled Ale Studios endorses the work.
At your option (you are not required to), you can incorporate the Wasteland Worlds compatibility logo within the layout of your work’s cover or within its text. 8 variants of different colours (red, yellow, purple, green, blue, black, white with red outline, white with black outline) appear in the carousel below. Click the left or right arrows to see more options, and right click your preferred variant to download. You are granted the right to recolour the compatibility logo to better suit your work’s graphic design, but may not otherwise modify it.
